How Subscriptions Work
When you purchase a subscription, you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription, you can cancel it at any time.
Why We Offer Subscriptions
Here's the truth: our ceremonial-grade matcha is grown by a single family in Uji, Japan—the same fields that have supplied the Japanese imperial family for generations. We harvest just twice a year, and our supply is extremely limited. We simply cannot produce more than nature allows.
Your subscription isn't a "commitment"—it's a reservation.
When you subscribe, you're securing your jars from the next harvest before they sell out. We use subscription numbers to plan exactly how much to import, so we can guarantee YOUR jars are set aside and waiting for you.
If you cancel, you're always welcome back—but we can't promise we'll have stock available. Our existing subscribers are always prioritized first, and once a harvest sells out, it's gone until the next season.

- Updating your payment method

How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time with no cancellation fees. To cancel:
- Log in to your account using one of the links above
- Navigate to your active subscriptions
- Select the subscription you wish to cancel
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Confirm your cancellation
Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive any orders that have already been processed or shipped.
Cancellation Timing
Please note:
- Before renewal: If you cancel before your next renewal date, you will not be charged for the next cycle;
- After renewal: If your subscription has already renewed and payment has been processed, that order will be fulfilled. Your cancellation will apply to future renewals;
- Orders in transit: Cancellation does not affect orders that have already been shipped. Please refer to our Refund Policy for returns.
Refunds for Subscription Orders
Subscription orders are subject to our standard Refund Policy. If you wish to request a refund for a subscription order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Reactivating Your Subscription
If you cancel your subscription and wish to reactivate it later, you can do so at any time by:
- Logging into your account and reactivating your subscription; or
- Placing a new subscription order on our website.
