Overview
At myjapanesegrandma.com, we work hard to get your order to you as quickly as possible. We ship primarily via USPS, though we may use multiple fulfillment partners to ensure the fastest possible delivery.
Please note: Some orders may be shipped from different fulfillment centers, which means items in the same order may arrive separately and at different times. This is normal and helps us get your products to you faster.
Processing Time
Orders are typically processed within 1-5 business days after payment is confirmed.
During peak periods (holidays, promotions, or new product launches), processing times may be slightly longer. We will notify you if there are any significant delays.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US public holidays.

Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.
We may offer free shipping promotions from time to time. Any free shipping thresholds or conditions will be clearly displayed on our website and at checkout.
Split Shipments
To ensure the fastest possible delivery, we work with multiple fulfillment partners. This means:
- Items in the same order may be shipped separately
- You may receive multiple packages for a single order
- Packages may arrive on different days
- Each shipment will have its own tracking number
If you ordered multiple items and only received some of them, please check your email for additional tracking information. The remaining items are likely on their way in a separate shipment.
Order Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this tracking number to monitor your package's progress.
Please note that tracking information may take 24-48 hours to update after your order has shipped.

International Shipping
We ship to most countries worldwide. For international orders, please be aware of the following:
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, and fees imposed by your country. These charges are:
- Not included in our product prices or shipping costs
- Your responsibility to pay upon delivery or customs clearance
- Non-refundable by us
We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information before placing an order.
Customs Delays
International shipments may be delayed by customs processing. These delays are beyond our control, and we cannot be held responsible for them. In rare cases, customs authorities may hold or return packages. If your package is returned to us due to customs issues, we will contact you to arrange a resolution.
PO Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses
We can ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses within the United States. However, please note that:
- Delivery times to these addresses may be longer than standard delivery times
- Some items may not be eligible for PO Box delivery due to size or shipping carrier restrictions
If we are unable to ship your order to a PO Box, we will contact you to arrange an alternative delivery address.
Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to collect from a pickup point, we will contact you to arrange reshipment.
Please note that additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.
To avoid delivery issues, please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate, including:
- Apartment or unit number (if applicable)
- Correct ZIP/postal code
- Phone number for delivery notifications
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package appears to be lost or arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of the expected delivery date.
For lost packages, we will work with the shipping carrier to locate your order. If the package cannot be found, we will either reship your order or issue a refund at your preference.
For damaged packages, please take photos of the damage (both the packaging and the product) and email them to us. We will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.

Shipping Restrictions
Due to customs regulations and shipping carrier restrictions, we may not be able to ship certain products to all destinations. If we are unable to ship your order to your location, we will notify you and issue a full refund.
Currently, we do not ship to the following countries/regions:
- Countries subject to international trade sanctions
- Regions where our shipping carriers do not operate
